Wee-ell was born in 1976 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He studied arts at ARTEZ in Arnhem, the Netherlands in 1999-2003.
Untill 2009 he wasn't active creating new art, but later that year he started creating new art again.
His work is based on reality but he altered this reality in something fantastic that isn't bound to the laws of nature. His works are dreamlike, they can be beautiful and horrific at same time.
Intuitive drawing has a major role in the creative process. It is not only fun to create art in this manner but also the strangest, most interesting shapes flow from this technique.
Wee-ell was influenced by comics, art noveau an chinese art.
